It was time.
The new name for this publication is Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Substack. (Haha.) Right!? There are so many Substacks all of a sudden. You’ll still get everything you were already getting — and more — but in easy, bite-size amounts.
Now that I’m going down to three episodes per week on my podcast Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books, I can provide additional fun content here. (Take a break? Are you kidding?!)
I’m also launching a new Substack inspired by my new anthology On Being Jewish Now, which comes out October 1st (TUESDAY!) in ebook and audiobook and on November 1 in trade paperback. Go to onbeingjewishnow.substack.com.

The Authors’ Lounge: Behind-the-scenes access to authors and events that the 20-something-year-old version of me (who used to go to Barnes & Noble author events by myself after work just for a glimpse of an author) would’ve only dreamed of going to. The room(s) where it happened. I’ll take you there.
Voice Notes: Life (and writing) advice from the 2,000+ authors who have been on Moms Don’t Have Time to Read Books. Content you can’t get elsewhere! Think: notes on writing, grief, motherhood, love, resilience, and more, to inspire you and change your whole day. Occasional video and audio, too.
Obsessed: What I’m loving. Books, TV, film, hotels, restaurants, clothes, and other Substacks. I’ll include brand deals from all our partners, too, plus seasonal gift guides and reading lists. This will be the curation station. (Wait, is that a better name?)
Early Access: Early sign-ups to events, retreats, and new offerings.
Press Play: Games inspired by books and authors.
Founders Circle:
All of this plus a free welcome gift and a deep appreciation for the support.
New Substack: On Being Jewish Now
What does being Jewish mean to you and how does it feel!? How has life changed since last October 7th?
Now you can share your thoughts in an essay. We’ll post any submissions that meet our editorial standards.
Pretend I gave you the same assignment I gave to the 75 contributors. No politics. Just emotion and personal experience. Reflect on your traditions, culture, and funny or sad experiences.

You got me with the Author’s Lounge! I’m now a paid subscriber. Going to my local indie for author events was a saving grace for me as I struggled through my 20s and 30s. Thank you for all you do in the book world, Zibby! 💕📚
I signed up as a paid subscriber today, too. I’m excited!
